When the State Becomes the Pirate!

And as the owner of that property, just like your home, you have the right to decide what you will and won't do with that property. Blackbeard & Nautilus Productions on the Smithsonian Channel! 


Sunday Sept. 20th & Tuesday Sept 29th follow nautical archaeologists and historians in their search for Blackbeard's ship and the truth behind its sinking. Nautilus Productions provided stock footage from the Queen Anne's Revenge Shipwreck Project for this episode. Blackbeard's ship, Queen Anne's Revenge, was once the most feared vessel ever to sail the high seas. In June 1718, she sank off the North Carolina coast, bringing an end to her six-month reign of terror.
